Principal's Message

Welcome to Anzar High SchoolAnzar is a small, rural school by design, and that is one of our greatest strengths. With a close-knit community of approximately 260 students, we are able to truly know our students, build meaningful relationships, and provide an educational experience that is both rigorous and deeply personal.

Since its founding in 1994, Anzar has remained committed to innovation, personalized learning, and preparing students for success beyond high school. We proudly serve a diverse student population and are committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our students engage in learning that extends beyond the classroom. Through our four-year Advisory program, students build strong connections with adults and peers who support them academically, socially, and emotionally. Our Service Learning and Post-Graduate Service Learning (PGSL) programs encourage students to develop purpose through meaningful contributions to their community, while dual enrollment opportunities allow them to earn college credit and prepare confidently for the future.

At Anzar, we believe that strong relationships create the foundation for meaningful learning. When students feel known, supported, and challenged, they are empowered to reach their full potential. Together, we strive to foster a culture where every student feels a sense of belonging, embraces responsibility, and discovers the unique strengths they bring to our school and community.

It is truly an honor to serve as the new Principal of Anzar High School. I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, families, and community as we continue building on Anzar's proud traditions while creating new opportunities for every student to succeed.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school. Whether you are a current family, prospective student, alumnus, or community member, we are proud of what makes Anzar such a special place and excited for all that lies ahead.

With appreciation,
Shamoon Ebrahimi
